The year is 22XX, Humans left earth in search for alien life, on a moon far from Earth, you were captured...

The humans have been experimenting on you, running tests and injecting you with experimental substances... 

Then you gained sentience.

With your new found intellect, you wish to exact revenge on your captors, but first you must escape the moonbase you are being held captive on.

The hubris of the humans will be their downfall.
